Every performer has different requirements for a Booth and there are a few points to consider before deciding which is right for you:
How will you be performing the show?
Hands above head is not ideal for very tall performers and remember after a short time, your arms will inevitably start to ache. Where as hands in front of face naturally restrict the movements of the puppets a little during the show.
What are you looking for in a Booth?
Something that is light weight?
Easy to carry?
Quick to erect?
Substantial, stable and secure?

LAZY TONG BOOTH
This traditional style of booth is lightweight, easy to carry and very popular with many performers as it can be used indoors or outdoors. The folding wooden frame packs up into bundles of approx. one meter in length and can easily be carried in a Golf Club bag (not included).
Once the frame work is assembled, the separate striped canvas is added along with the proscenium and scenery etc. It usually takes around 20 minutes to build-up and break down again afterwards.
When working outside, you will need to secure the booth with ropes and pegs.
Price on request, which includes the frame work, striped canvas, basic proscenium and scenery.
However this price will vary from Booth to Booth as each is made to individual requirements. Once we know your exact requirements, we will be able to confirm a more accurate price for you.

ERIC SHARP INDOOR BOOTH
If you are a very busy birthday party entertainer, then our Eric Sharp Indoor Booth would be ideal for your needs, it is lightweight, easy to carry and very quick to erect. The ingenious design of folding panels, allows you to have the Booth up and ready to perform in seconds, literally!
We took Eric Sharp’s original plans and improved on the design by adding our own features. The whole frame-work has the traditional red and white striped canvas permanently attached, which reduces the time it takes to erect the booth, making it extremely popular with busy entertainers.
Each panel neatly folds in on itself with metal strengtheners on the joints and plenty of hooks to hang up the puppets. When folded down the booth is approx one metre square by approx 30cm in thickness. It is very easy to carry over the shoulder and fits nicely into even the smallest of cars.

PROSCENIUM ARTWORK
The cost of commissioning artwork for the proscenium of your Punch & Judy Booth very much depends on your requirements and the size needed.

SCENERY
We paint both indoor and outdoor scenes for performers who work hands above head or for those who work hands in front of their face in their Punch & Judy Booths.
When we create scenery which is going to be used hands in front of face, we include a small section which enables the performer to view the audience and the puppets on the playboard.
